Back in October 2018 the teams over at Monogram & O.T. Brewing released their first collaboration, the ARDI Beer (see article). Well they’ve done it again, and this time their Natural 
Java Coffee Beer was created with its debut taking place at The HopWired Festival that took place this past weekend in Vancouver.
O.T. Brewing had this to say: “Our second collaboration with Monogram Coffee brewed for Hopwired Festival 2019 features the fully natural-processed Tibebu Roba from Ethiopia. Natural Java begins as a blonde ale that gets dosed with brewhouse-brewed coffee after primary fermentation. Expect notes of blueberry cheesecake with extra crust!”
I was excited to have timed the release of this on a day when I was already downtown so I swung by Oak & Vine to pick up a four-pack. After getting it home, and chilling it naturally (the only good thing about this polar-vortex), I cracked one open and was very pleased.
If you get the chance to pick some up, expect to pay around $12/4-pack. I love these types of collaborations between local Calgary companies.
